Oh dear this is my 4th post since Friday - I really do need to get a life! Well until I do here is a card I am entering for this week's ColourQ challenge which, as you can see from the inspiration photo above, is using Chocolate Chip, Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, Certainly Celery and Whisper White. I decided to make another Easter card with the gorgeous Blossom stamp from Easter Blossoms and the cute little rabbit from Everybunny. I began by stamping the blossom branch in Chocolate Chip and then coloured in using a blender pen with Calypso Coral then the little bunny was stamped underneath, again in Chocolate Chip. The ink from the original stamping was blended in for the rabbits face, ears, arms and legs with a touch of pink inside the ear. I don't have the Blushing Bride ink pad so I substituted this with Pink Pirouette and used this to colour the dress and one of the eggs and Calypso Coral was used for the other egg and the shoes. To 'ground' the bunny so she didn't look like she was suspended in mid-air, I squiggled some Certainly Celery around using a blender pen then stamped the sentiment on top. The panel was matted onto a piece of Certainly Celery cardstock which had been punched along the bottom edge with the Eyelet Border punch, a knot of grosgrain ribbon tied around and then positioned onto a white card blank.
I hope you've all had a lovely weekend and have managed to enjoy the sunshine - please let this be the start of spring :0)
