Masculine Card

Today's card is one that I have been asked to make for someone who had looked everywhere for a card for a man which said 'Welcome Back' but could only find flowery ones.

I started with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, cut slightly smaller than the cream card base, and partially embossed down the left hand side with the Stripes Embossing Folder before matting onto a larger piece of Soft Suede cardstock.

I then took a strip of DSP from Well Worn and matted this onto another strip of Soft Suede. Some Linen Thread was wrapped around this panel and tied in a knot before fixing to the Very Vanilla then the whole thing was glued in place onto the card blank.

The sentiment was computer generated, printed onto Very Vanilla, punched out using the Decorative Label punch, inked around the edge with Crumb Cake using a sponge dauber and then positioned onto the card with dimensionals.

My Everybunny stamp set has just arrived so I hope to be back soon with some Easter Bunny cards!
