Simples Sunday

Today's Simples Sunday card is another entry into this week's LIM challenge - a One Layer, Off the Edge card.
I have used the Simply Stars stamp set which is retiring, the wood mount has already sold out but the clear mount is still available at the moment. I used two of the images and stamped them in Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party. The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts, stamped in Bermuda Bay. I added just a few Basic Rhinestones for a little bit of sparkle!
Enjoy your Sunday

Simply Stars for Simples Sunday

This is my Simples Sunday post which is also my second entry into the LIM challenge - A Touch of Turquoise.
I used two stamps from Simply Stars, stamped them onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock in Bermuda Bay then added a sentiment from Sassy Salutations. This was matted onto Bermuda Bay cardstock and then onto a white card blank. I stamped one of the small stars onto Whisper White, cut it out with paper snips and added it to the card with a dimensional then placed a Basic Rhinestone in the centre of each star. Simply done!!

I always take photos of my cards in the conservatory as that's where the light is usually best and, yesterday, when I took these photos I had someone watching me. I thought I would share these with you - what do you think he's saying in that second photo? What you looking at????   :0)

Enjoy your Sunday

Simples Sunday

As promised yesterday I am back with my combined Simples Sunday and LIM card which is 'Metallic Plus One Colour'
I have used silver embossing and Night of Navy, as really I like this combination, along with the Simply Stars stamp set and a sentiment from Embellished Events.
The stars were stamped in Versamark on a square of Whisper White cardstock and silver embossed, then matted onto Night of Navy and a white card blank. You can see the shine of the embossing in the smaller photo above. The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy, punched out with the Word Window Punch, then matted onto a Modern Label. A few Basic Rhinestones were added for a bit of sparkle.
I have to say I am much happier with this card than the one I made yesterday, a lot more CAS and more my style :0)
I hope you are having a good weekend and I'll be back soon
