First my apologies for going AWOL but, although I have been doing some crafting, I just don't seem to find the time to blog!! It doesn't help that it is practically impossible for me to take photos other than at the weekend because it's dark when I go to work and dark when I get home!! Anyway I did manage to catch some light today to take these photos of a little sweet box and matching card. The box is made using the Labels Collections Framelits and cut from Soft Suede cardstock (you need 2 of these and a rectangle of card to make the container inside to hold your gift) and the robin is, of course, the Bird Builder punch - inked with Crumb Cake and Real Red. He is mounted on a Very Vanilla diecut, which has been embossed with the Square Lattice Folder, and the leaves are again from the Bird Builder punch using some non-SU gold foil card. The sentiment on the card is a stamp from Sassy Salutations and embossed in gold.
The thing I love about crafting is that you can make a small, very inexpensive gift look quite special - the sweets I used here cost around 50p a box and you would never give those as a present just wrapped in a piece of gift paper would you??
Until next time keep warm and happy crafting x
