Flowery Wreath

This is a wreath I made during the summer holidays to hang in my porch and I've only just got round to showing you!
The flowers were made using the Fun Flowers and Blossom Party dies in different combinations and leaves punched from, the now retired, Blossom Petals Punch.
The colours are Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery and the wreath was finished off with a bow made from Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon.
No masterpiece but just an example of how you can use SU products for home decorating and not just cards!!

Another Punch Art card to show you and this is my attempt at Snoopy. Again there are several versions out there in blogland and all slightly different so impossible to credit the originator. My Snoopy was made with ovals, circles and the Blossom Petals punches with Whisper White and Basic Black and his kennel with Real Red cardstock which was embossed first with the Stripes Embossing Folder. The card blank was sponged with Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue and stamped with a stamp from Pocket Silhouettes before the dog and kennel were glued in place. Part of a sentiment stamp was coloured with a Real Red marker and punched with the Modern Label Punch.

Blossom Petals Punch Baubles

I'm afraid I can take no credit at all for the design of this card as it was copied from an original design by a very talented lady at Valita's Designs & Fresh Folds. I thought it was so gorgeous I just had to have a go myself and, although quite fiddly so I wouldn't want to make a lot of them, I was very pleased with the result. It always amazes me when people come up with a use for a punch that is a million miles away from what it's intended for and I am very grateful for those clever people sharing their ideas. The baubles on the card are made from the Blossom Petals Punch, which are scored and then stuck together and if you would like to learn how to make them then click on the link to the blog above where you will find a brilliant tutorial. My card differs from the original in that I glued the edges of the petals and dipped them in Dazzling Diamonds, the string hangers were a line of glue with Dazzling Diamonds sprinkled on and the bow was made from some Silver Elastic Cord (sadly no longer available). The sentiment is from Contempo Christmas.
