Not being very happy with my first entry for the LIM challenge Spots & Stripes I had to have another go and I'm a bit happier with this one. Using masking and sponging again, I punched three squares in a piece of copy paper, placed this on top of my card blank and sponged with Wisteria Wonder. Leaving the mask in position I stamped the spots with the Confetti stamp in Elegant Eggplant and drew in the stripes with the thin end of a marker pen, again in Elegant Eggplant. The sentiment is from A Word for You.
I think that's it for today as I really must get on with the things I NEED to do and stop doing the things I WANT to do!! Have a great weekend and I'll be back tomorrow with my Simples Sunday card x
I love this one Margaret... I prefer it to the first one too!
ReplyDeleteThanks again.

How odd! I wasn't entirely happy with my first either - we really ARE our own worst critics though! Your 2nd IS lovely - but so was the first!

Having seen this card I don't think I am going to get on with the things I need to do today as I really want to try punching squares in copy paper now, thanks for that! Its a great card, love it.
