Another Notelet

Back today with another 'Notelet' to add to my growing collection. This time I have made a pocket style holder in Cherry Cobbler. The stamp set I used is Fabulous Florets and the sentiment is from Field Flowers. The pocket was decorated by randomly stamping the flower using Cherry Cobbler ink and then fussy cutting two of the flowers, which had been stamped on Whisper White, and glueing one and adding the other with dimensionals. On the insert ust one flower was stamped at the top leaving plenty of room to write your note.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend and didn't eat TOO much chocolate! I am on holiday for the next 2 weeks so plenty of time for crafting - er did I say crafting? I think I meant cleaning and tidying :0)   Back soon x

Notecard

You may remember last week I set myself a challenge to design some notecards for my next class, well this is another one I've come up with!
I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut to C6 size and matted this onto a very slightly larger piece of Lucky Limeade. I used a stamp from Circle Circus inked with Lucky Limeade and stamped off before stamping twice onto the Whisper White to give me two lighter shades. The band across was made with one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits which I extended but, if you haven't got this set (and if not, WHY not?), you could use just a rectangle of card with a circle punch at either end or just a rectangle of card. The sentiment on the band is from Friendly Phrases. For the actual notelet I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock wide enough to slip in the band and slightly shorter than the 'holder', inked around the edges with Lucky Limeade and added the stamp 'with love' from Field Flowers at the bottom.

Thank you for stopping by and I'll be back soon x

Do you ever have times when you don't want to write a letter but you want something a little different to a card? Well I have set myself the task of designing a set of 'let's call them notelets' for my class in April and this is just one that I've come up with so far.
It is a C6 sized tag made with Soft Suede and Very Vanilla cardstock and decorated with Pool Party flowers made with the Blossom Party die and Boho Blossoms punch. The stems from Field Flowers are stamped in Certainly Celery and the sentiment from A Word for You in Soft Suede. A hole was made in the top and some Pool Party Ruffled ribbon threaded through and tied with Pool Party Baker's Twine. The small picture shows the back of the notelet, a square of Very Vanilla cardstock with plenty of room for you to write on.
